Alex Moseman

Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, Indianapolis Public Schools

We’re excited to welcome Alex to MDLF! Alex is the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at IPS and lives in Indianapolis.

About Alex:

I am a lifelong Hoosier, avid West Wing fan, and recovering college athlete. I began my career in education as a Middle School English Teacher and Coach in Indianapolis Public Schools. After transitioning out of the classroom, I worked in Higher Education and for a National Education Non-Profit before returning to IPS to lead the district's recruitment. In my current role at IPS, I work to ensure that every student has access to passionate and engaged instructional leaders. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and running on one of the many trails in Central Indiana.

What's your vision for Indiana? How does this relate to your decision to join the program?

Every Hoosier, regardless of zip code or socio-economic status, deserves access to a high-quality education. Given the rapidly changing workforce demands of the 21st century, it will take a broad and diverse coalition of stakeholders to fulfill the educational promise of Hoosier students. I decided to join MDLF because I believe Indiana has the chance to be a national leader in the alignment and development of workforce and educational opportunities that will propel our state forward.
